Ginger, Honey, Lemon Tea

Ginger Honey Lemon Tea
Author:

This is a soothing tea that has natural antibiotics in it to help fight off infection and keep your immune system strong. This will also help your throat if it’s feeling rough and scratchy if you had a breathing tube for anesthesia, and settle your stomach if you’re feeling nauseous.

And did I mention they also have anti-inflammatory properties to help with healing and to naturally detox your body? This will quickly become your go-to drink for recovery!

Ingredients

Slice of lemon (organic lemon is ideal)

1” piece of ginger, peeled and grated, or thinly sliced and minced

1 teaspoon of raw honey (adjust to taste)

8 ounces of boiling water

Instructions:

Add the ginger and lemon into a tea steeper and pour the boiling water over to steep for 5 minutes. After it has cooled a bit you can add the honey. Adding when the water is very hot makes the honey lose some of its healthy benefits. If you don’t have a steeper you can just add the ingredients to your mug and enjoy!

A little about me

I’m Genevieve Ross. I’m someone who has been through what you’re going through, and now on the other side. Wanting to make things easier for you. I found out about Breast Implant Illness (BII) after struggling with my health for 2 years and not recognizing who I was anymore. I removed my implants in November of 2019 and it’s a decision I’ll never regret!

I am now finding my way back to the person I was before I got my implants, and extremely grateful for this new beginning. I hope it will be a great point to start or continue your search, and that reading about my journey will make yours easier to navigate.
